Join us for a rejuvenating Mat Pilates class that focuses on building core strength, improving flexibility, and enhancing overall body awareness. This class is suitable for all fitness levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners, looking to tone their muscles, improve posture, and increase mind-body connection. Our Mat Pilates class is designed to be accessible and effective, using only a mat and your body weight. The class typically includes a series of exercises that target various muscle groups, providing a full-body workout that will leave you feeling energized and centered. Expect a blend of traditional Pilates exercises with contemporary variations, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging session. Impact Level: Low impact.
Throughout the class, emphasis is placed on connecting each movement with the breath, creating a rhythmic and meditative flow. The instructor guides students to explore their physical limits while maintaining mindfulness and awareness of their bodies. Power Vinyasa is known for its ability to build strength, enhance flexibility, and improve cardiovascular fitness.
While each Sound Healing Class is different there are some common components that you may experience. We try to play the brass bowls on the body at the start of each session. Each student is asked to pick a bowl for them to experience the sound as it resonates through the body. This helps center and relax us energetically as we then move into a general balancing of all seven energy centers. We use crystal or alchemy bowls in the main session accompanied by music and nature sounds. Our sessions vary and if there is a small group we can go into a deeper experience with either the brass bowls or the crystal depending on the need. Sound is a powerful tool to heal and balance the body. A guided meditation is provided with the experience to nurture our emotional and mental well being.
Students engage in a gentle and balanced yoga practice that focuses on holding foundational postures to improve flexibility, alignment, and relaxation. The class aims to harmonize the body and mind through mindful breathing and static poses, fostering a sense of inner calm and overall well-being.
In this invigorating Vinyasa Flow class, students can expect a dynamic and balanced experience that blends strength-building and muscle-stretching elements. As the class progresses, the instructor will guide you through a series of flowing sequences, designed to target specific muscle groups.
Throughout the class, students are encouraged to move at their own pace and listen to their bodies. Modifications and variations are provided to accommodate different fitness levels, ensuring that everyone can find their challenge and growth edge. The class concludes with a soothing cool-down, incorporating deeper stretches and relaxing poses.
By the end of the class, students will feel both physically empowered and mentally rejuvenated, having experienced a harmonious blend of strength-building exercises and muscle-stretching postures that cultivate overall wellbeing.
